More than 500 young representatives of Eurasian countries visited the RUSSIA EXPO under the NPO "Eurasia" programs
Since
April, more than 500 young people from CIS countries have visited the
International RUSSIA EXPO under the programs "Get to Know Russia" and
"Ambassadors of the Friendship of Peoples". On July 7, a group of
young people from Armenia, Uzbekistan and Moldova visited Pavilion No. 75 and
the "Achievements of Russia" Gallery. The organizer of the excursions
within the framework of the programs was the NPO "Eurasia".
"We
bring young people from Eurasian countries to Russia in order for the guys to
see its beauty with their own eyes and feel the richness and similarity of our
cultures themselves, not from someone else's stories. The participants are
absolutely delighted, and the positive feedback we receive confirms that we are
moving in the right direction. Now we are actively working on the expansion of
this project, so that soon young people will have the opportunity to visit
other brotherly countries," said the deputy of the State Duma, Chairman of
the Council of NPO "Eurasia" Alyona Arshinova.
Under the
program "Get to Know Russia" young people from different countries
participate in excursion tours to Moscow: they visit the main sights of the
capital - Red Square and Alexandrovsky Garden, Skolkovo Technopark, leading
universities and the International RUSSIA EXPO.
"It's
my first visit to both the Exposition and Moscow. I had previously seen the
landmarks we visited only in pictures, but the reality exceeded all
expectations. At the Exposition, I was very surprised to see that Russia has
such a diverse and developed industry. I also really liked that the exhibits
had a lot of interactive features, robots, and virtual reality. It's very
interesting; you don't see and experience this everywhere," shared her
impressions the participant of the program "Get to Know Russia" Elen
Galstyan from Armenia.
The tour
was also attended by activists of the "Eurasia Ambassadors" project,
created to strengthen ties between the peoples of post-Soviet countries. The
guys participate in the activities of the NPO, immerse themselves in the
distinctive culture of the partner states and expand their circle of
communication.
"I was
very surprised by the diversity of the Exposition. Each stand here is unique,
and one is amazed at how many different peoples there are in Russia and how
friendly they are. And, of course, here you can see how beautiful and immense
Russia is. I am very glad that I became an ambassador of "Eurasia",
because the emotions we get cannot be expressed in words. This is the culture
we should strive for: to learn about other countries, to appreciate their
peculiarities, to tell the world about it," said Vadim Kristev from
Moldova, a participant of the project "Ambassadors of Friendship of
Peoples".
NPO
"Eurasia" is a non-profit organization that implements humanitarian
projects aimed at the development of interethnic communication. Its goal is to
strengthen integration processes in the post-Soviet space while preserving the
national identity of peoples. One of the main directions of NPO
"Eurasia" is to support schoolchildren, students and young
specialists. Among the projects are educational programs, exchanges,
internships in large state and private high-tech companies, media schools. The
"Eurasia" project also includes professional platforms and forums for
school and university teachers, participation of athletes in international
competitions such as the Friendship Games, grants for journalists and bloggers,
business missions to sell products and find partners for entrepreneurs, and
