The National Centre RUSSIA today meets the needs of various professional communities for communication and exchange of experience. This was stated by the Governor of the Kemerovo Region — Kuzbass, Ilya Seredyuk, during the second All-Russian municipal forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA", which is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA.

"Recently, there has been a growing need for the exchange of experience and communication to solve complex issues. At the National Centre, in addition to expositions and demonstrations of Russia’s achievements, there is an opportunity to establish contacts with colleagues. A professional audience gathers here, open to dialogue. The territory of our country is vast — our regions are both similar and unique in their own ways. The National Centre RUSSIA allows us to learn more, study history, and see how people live in different corners of the country," emphasized Ilya Seredyuk.

The second All-Russian Municipal Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA" is one of the most important events for all municipalities in the country. This annual event is held by order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to discuss current issues related to the development and support of municipalities.

The organizer of the forum is the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU), with the support of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.

About four thousand participants from all regions of the country are taking part in the forum: representatives of local self-government, federal and regional authorities, business, public organizations, and experts. Participants exchange experience, share successful practices, and develop solutions to various pressing issues to improve the quality of life in municipalities.

The business program of the second All-Russian Municipal Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA" includes more than 20 panel sessions, discussions, and expert dialogues. On 22 April, the second day of the forum is taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA. According to the Head of the Local Self-Government of the Krasnobakovsky Municipal District, Anton Bykov, the issues discussed at the event are relevant to any municipal leader.

"This is exactly what improves the quality of life for our population — urban improvement, housing and utilities. A space like the National Centre RUSSIA is essential in our multinational country. Here we meet and move toward a common goal — the development of our great country. As our President Vladimir Putin noted, duty and service are the same. One can serve the Motherland and one’s people," said Anton Bykov.

The general information partner of the forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA" and the "Service" award is the TASS Information Agency. The information partners include Lenta.ru, Gazeta.Ru, the media group Komsomolskaya Pravda, the television and radio company Zvezda, Moskovsky Komsomolets, and the TV channel 360. The communication partner of the forum is the MAER media holding.
