On June 18, the RUSSIA EXPO will host sports, educational and cultural events, masterclasses and demonstrations.

Exposition of technological developments of "Kulibin Club"

"Kulibin Club" of the People's Front is engaged in the selection, testing, support of serial production of the best developments of domestic engineers. Thanks to this initiative, thousands of innovative means of electronic countermeasures against enemy drones — quadrocopters, self-propelled robot carts and much, much more - have been put on the front line. As part of the exposition "Everything for Victory! — Two Years", Kulibin engineers will present their best developments.

Exercise with Olympic champions

The sports session will be attended by Adelina Yakovleva, champion of the Moscow region and Moscow in ORTO hip-hop, regular winner of numerous tournaments and championships in street style, Daria Repa, champion of various international and All-Russian tournaments in street dance, Anastasia Sakharova, participant of dance tournaments and winner of Moscow championships in break dancing. The event takes place within the framework of the International Conference of Youth Councils of Rosreestr.

Participants will enjoy contests, demonstration performances, practice of technical techniques and elements in athletics, photo session, autograph session with the participation of famous athletes Olga Kaniskina, Natalia Suvorova, Alexander Katyshev, football player Alexei Shebanov and captain of football club "Shumbrat" Radik Yusupov.

Tournament of performers of national dances "Russia: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow"

The tournament will be attended by groups from the regions of the Central macroregion. They will perform folk dances with elements of modern choreography. The winner of the tournament will be chosen by the audience. The best collective will perform "encore".

Masterclass and lecture "Fedoskino Painting"

Crafts of the Moscow region will be presented by Fedoskino Factory. Lacquer miniatures and papier-mâché have been created here since the end of the XVIII century, it is one of the most recognizable crafts of the country.

Masterclass on painting and lecture "Semikarakorsk Ceramics"

The folk craft Semikarakorsk ceramics, as the name suggests, originated in the glorious town on the Don - Semikarakorsk. Today it is a wide range of tableware, souvenirs, decor and dolls, with their painting based on steppe plants of the Don region with small inflorescences, painted with fractional fine strokes.

Presentation of the International Festival "World of Classical Romance"

The festival will be held for the first time in St. Petersburg from June 27 to July 5 and will unite relevant socio-cultural themes: anniversaries of great Russian classics, the cross-cultural year of Russia and China, the integration of Donbass and new territories into the cultural space of Russia, as well as the Year of the Family.

11 concerts and three open masterclasses will be held at the best concert venues of the Northern Capital and will bring together a constellation of vocalists from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and China.

Director of the Oksana Fedorova Foundation and Festival director Tatiana Ivanova will present the program of the 9-day festival marathon, which will feature more than 70 vocalists and concertmasters, the Governor's Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg conducted by Anton Lubchenko, the Mariupol Orchestra of the Donetsk Philharmonic conducted by Vasily Shakula and the Children's Choir of TV and Radio of St. Petersburg conducted by Igor Gribkov.

The masterclass will help participants bring back the tradition of singing long songs together in the kitchen and beyond. Using a song from the village of Prudki as an example, participants will learn the basics of breathing, voice leading, improvisation, and vowel articulation.

Overall, learning traditional songs orally greatly enhances cognitive skills: attention, memory, thinking, and communication. It is not only beautiful but also beneficial.

Farmers Fair

The Farmers Fair in Pavilion No. 48 invites you to be amazed by the variety and richness of tastes. Cheeses, sausages, delicacies, Siberian berry jam, chocolate-covered cones, black and red caviar from all regions of the country are presented here. You can comfortably get to our Fair by route No. K, which departs from Pavilion No. 75, as well as from the stop "Northern Loop", located at the arch of the Main Entrance of VDNH. Pavilion No. 48 is within walking distance from the "City Farm" stop.
