"Here we see the greatness of our country": Russian culture without borders was discussed at the RUSSIA EXPO
The RUSSIA EXPO hosted a round table with the expert community on the subject of "Russian Culture without Borders". Among the participants were cultural and artistic figures from Moscow, Dagestan and the Lugansk People's Republic who discussed current trends in cultural industries, directions and vectors of development within the framework of current challenges.
According to Grigory Zaslavsky, rector of the Russian Institute of Theater Art GITIS, the university tries to maintain and develop all kinds of international relations possible today.
"In a couple of days our masters will begin a series of masterclasses in Kazakhstan's Petropavlovsk, in mid-March, with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo, we plan to hold preliminary auditions in Astana. In July, the next and already traditional "GITIS School" will take place on Issyk-Kul. We sent Lika Rulla's course to the international theater festival in New Delhi. And this is only a small part of our projects for 2024," said Grigory Zaslavsky.
Director General of the Dagestan Dance Ensemble "Lezginka" Dzhambulat Magomedov made a report "Support of National Collectives and the Implementation of the 'We are Russia' Federal Program", which, according to him, gives tangible support to creative teams.
"The RUSSIA EXPO, where all regions are represented on one territory, is the perfect place to talk about culture and geographical expansion. Here we see the greatness of our country. First of all, I want to thank our leader Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin for supporting the traditional national culture of the Russian Federation. And I would certainly like to thank Olga Lyubimova. In the most difficult times, such as, for example, the pandemic, when there the issue about the fate of the ensemble was raised, we saw real help and constructive dialog," emphasized Dzhambulat Magomedov.
Director of the Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra Ilya Repenak spoke about the formation of his ensemble. He noted that the orchestra was established in 2018 on the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin within the framework of the National Project "Culture".
"In its creative work, the orchestra combines Russian musical traditions and the global experience and solves three fundamental tasks: artistic, educational and enlightening," said Ilya Repenak.
Galina Mikhailuk-Philippova, Director of the Lugansk Academic Russian Drama Theater named after P. Luspekayev, presented the report "All-Russian Tour and Concert Plan in the New Subjects of the Russian Federation". According to her, although the theater is 85 years old already, but the Russian word has never ceased to resound within its walls.
The event
is organized by the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and
the Arctic, with support from Norilsk Nickel PJSC and the Rosatom State
Corporation.
