A resident of the Omsk region restored her eyesight in Chuvashia thanks to a certificate from the RUSSIA EXPO
The three-week health marathon held by the specialists of the Republican Clinical Ophthalmologic Hospital at the exposition of the Ministry of Health of Chuvashia at the RUSSIA EXPO ended with gifts for the guests. Eight lucky winners received certificates for medical services, including free laser vision correction and blepharoplasty.
"The exposition of the Ministry of Health of Chuvashia was always lively: interactives, prevention games and many other things useful for eye health. More than 7000 guests visited the exposition of the Ministry of Health of Chuvashia within the week, 6000 of them were able to check their eyesight with modern equipment," said Vladimir Stepanov, Vice Prime Minister of the Government — Minister of Health of the Chuvash Republic.
The other day one of the winners, Maria Assenheimer from the Omsk region, came to Cheboksary to realize her dream — to say goodbye to glasses once and for all.
"I was received here like a relative. It feels like I've lived here all my life. We went through a full examination. They said that surgery was possible. It was my dream, such a long, long-term dream, — Maria shared her impressions. — Now I can see absolutely everything. And all the letters. I am grateful to the Chuvash Republic. I am grateful to Irina Vyacheslavovna that she convinced me, believed in me. And the doctors here are very diligent. Svetlana Germanovna, my surgeon, explained everything in detail. I thank the nurses who supported me. I was very worried. But the operation went well. I thank you from the bottom of my heart! There is nothing like it, that you can see well and live a full life. I thank every doctor, every nurse, who treat every patient very attentively, very diligently, kindly, with respect".
It should be noted that, apart from Maria, four winners from Moscow have already used the certificates: one blepharoplasty and three laser vision correction surgeries have been performed.
The National Centre RUSSIA will have one maintenance day next week — 16 March.
The final rehearsal is over, and the students are ready to present to guests the main exposition of the National Centre RUSSIA.
