"Nightingales and iron" is the name of the stand of the Kursk region. The stand will tell visitors about the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly - one of the largest iron ore basins on Earth - and the Kursk NPP, which is among the four most powerful nuclear power plants in the country. A separate zone will be dedicated to the Kursk energy and successes in the electrical industry. Visitors to the exposition will learn about the manufacturing industry, which has doubled in the last six years. Achievements of the food and processing industry of the Kursk region will also be presented, as well as agriculture - our region ranks third in the Central Federal District in terms of its production volumes. In the zone dedicated to the events of the summer of 1943, there will be a model of the memorial "Kursk Battle". In addition, visitors will learn more about the history of the battle. Interactive zones will be organized at the exposition. Visitors will be able to create their own song from nightingale trills, generate a portrait in the style of Malevich or Deineka, inhale the smell of Kursk herbs corked in special flasks, feel themselves as a miner of Mikhailovsky GOK (mining and processing plant), wearing special VR-glasses.
