Perm region
The history of the Perm region began with the Great Cherdyn. Then the Perm land was the eastern border of the Russian Empire, and it was from here that Yermak left to explore Siberia and expand the borders of our country. Vitus Bering went on an expedition to Kamchatka from the Perm land.
Now the Perm region is at the center of a great country. We are creating advanced robots, mining potassium salt, developing engine and machine building, harvesting and processing timber, restoring shipping, expanding access to the region's cultural riches and creating modern art.
