The Russian Society "Knowledge" is the country's largest modern educational organization, which annually holds hundreds of events for young people throughout Russia: organizes thousands of speeches by outstanding people from the fields of culture, art, science, history, conducts scientific battles, contests, quizzes, makes films and helps lecturers in our country to be heard and find their audience.
The Russian Society "Knowledge" traces its history back to the Soviet public organization founded in 1947 on the initiative of representatives of the Soviet intelligentsia as the All-Union Society for the Dissemination of Political and Scientific Knowledge. On April 21, 2021, during the Russian President's Address to the Federal Assembly, Vladimir Putin called for the Russian Society "Knowledge" to be relaunched on a modern digital platform.
