Kind gifts: products made by beneficiaries of charitable foundations are presented at the Department Store
During the New Year period, the Department Store RUSSIA at the National Centre RUSSIA is showcasing products created by socially oriented non-profit organisations. Wooden souvenirs, handmade ceramics, and other unique items can be purchased as meaningful New Year gifts.
Presidential support
For eight years, the Presidential Grants Foundation has been funding non-profit organisation projects through competitive selection. Over this period, nearly 34,000 initiatives have received support. Among the Foundation’s grant recipients are many organisations that promote self-realisation, the development of creative potential, and professional skills among people with disabilities. New platforms are being created for the sale of goods and services produced by those supported by the Foundation’s project teams.
As a result of this important work, the Department Store at the National Centre RUSSIA has opened the showcase "From the Country of Creators", featuring unique handmade products created by beneficiaries of Russian non-profit organisations, including people with disabilities. Each item reflects talent, patience, and dedicated craftsmanship. For many of these artisans, creativity has become a way to find their place in the world and to once again demonstrate that human potential knows no limits, especially when supported by society and the state.
Beauty and craftsmanship
The "From the Country of Creators" showcase attracts visitors’ attention with its beautifully crafted items. Recently, new products inspired by circus themes and by one of the New Year symbols of the National Centre RUSSIA — the roly-poly toy — have appeared on sale.
ANO CTR "Masterskiye Stupeni" ("Stepping Stone Workshops") prepared mixed-technique works for the showcase. Participants of the organisation explore a wide range of creative fields: painting on fabric and canvas, working with clay, producing printed materials, mastering decoupage, and sewing. Despite health challenges, each creator produces genuine works of art.
The autonomous non-profit organisation Centre for Social and
Legal Assistance to Children "Start into the Future" presented
ceramic items made by young yet remarkably talented artisans. Charming mugs and
cups will brighten any kitchen and lift the mood — they were created by
children with love and heartfelt sincerity.
By purchasing items from the "From the Country of
Creators" showcase at the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA,
visitors not only acquire high-quality handmade products but also support
important social initiatives, contributing to the development of an inclusive
society. These items make thoughtful gifts for the New Year, Christmas, and any
other occasion.
