Parents are willing to go to great lengths to make their children happy. For instance, designer and architect Alla Yuretskaya created a brand of perfect children's toys. Here’s why mass-market products didn’t satisfy this young mother and why everyone is thrilled with the artisanal toys from the Lipetsk region.

Today, you can walk into any toy store and see thousands of products in a wide range of price categories for children of all ages. While most of these toys can entertain a child, they don’t always contribute to their harmonious development. This was a problem that Alla Yuretskaya has personally encountered.

"When I had my own children, I noticed the oversaturation of the toy market with products in neon colors and simple shapes. Though, I wanted toys that would help foster good taste and inspire creativity. It’s great when a child, while playing, develops imagination and an appreciation for beauty," says the brand’s creator.

As an experienced architect and designer, Alla decided to try her hand at making toys. She crafted them guided by her professional experience and motherly instincts, but her children were her main advisors. By observing their play, Alla understood how to improve the toys. She rejected bright, unnatural colors, opting for interesting color combinations and complex shades. In addition, she chose only natural materials: wood and plywood, ensuring the toys were pleasant to hold. She also prioritized safety and environmental friendliness.

Alla initially gifted her first creations to friends with children. The feedback was so enthusiastic that it became clear there was no turning back. Thus, the Mozai brand was born. Today, its range includes colorful and original mosaics, shaped and magnetic puzzles, lacing toys, and other developmental games.

"We are proud of our interesting design ideas, high-quality craftsmanship, and individual style that makes each toy unique. Our products not only delight children but can also become extraordinary elements of interior decor," explains Alla.
