Traditions in modern interpretation: wicker products from the Lipetsk region at the RUSSIA EXPO
The
creative workshop "Basket Style" creates exemplary items from paper
vine. Modern and functional, durable, safe for people and the environment. And
of course, beautiful and incredibly pleasant to the touch.
The history of the modern "Basket Style" brand began more than 10 years ago with a small family workshop. Olga Krutskikh decided to master a new material - paper vine - and began studying traditional weaving techniques known since ancient times. Her eldest daughter Marina inherited her mother's skills. She later became the founder of the brand and added a modern twist to the classic products.
Wicker items are made from ordinary thin paper. However, through processing, it achieves such strength that the finished product can be used for many years without getting spoiled or losing its luster. From the moment the material itself is made to the final coating of the finished item, only manual labor is used. Each creation carries a piece of the master's soul. All the materials used are safe, non-allergenic, and very pleasant to the touch.
"Children
love to play with our woven houses and doll strollers, and there is no danger
of getting hurt on hard or sharp edges. The balloon-shaped lampshades are not
only stylish modern decor but also create a cozy atmosphere and add a touch of
romance to any interior," notes Olga Krutskikh.
Wicker breadbaskets and picnic baskets are far more than just convenient accessories. Such items help create beautiful, warm memories of shared leisure time, picnics, fun walks, and family trips.
Now items from paper vine is also presented in the Department Store at the RUSSIA EXPO.
