Karachun clay toy

Authentic figurines are molded from red clay. The production follows the techniques traditionally used in the region. The toys have simple and precise shapes. Some are made in the form of animals: dogs, horses, cows, piglets. Others schematically depict people. After molding, the clay is fired and not painted, but covered with transparent or greenish lead glaze.
