During this week, the National Centre RUSSIA will be closed for maintenance for one day – 15 December. The space will reopen on Tuesday, 16 December.

On these days, the team will focus on an important mission – making guests' visits as comfortable, safe, and memorable as possible. Specialists will inspect equipment, update expositions, and carry out scheduled maintenance of all interactive and guest areas.

Plan your visit to the National Centre RUSSIA in advance.

The working hours for the upcoming week are as follows:

15 December — maintenance day;

From 16 December, the National Centre RUSSIA will once again welcome visitors as usual, from 10:00 to 20:00.

We invite you to discover new facets of Russia. At the "Journey Across Russia" exposition, guests can explore the history and landmarks of all federal districts, sample the best regional dishes at the Gastronomic Rows, and gain a wealth of useful knowledge and pleasant impressions.

We also invite you to the new journey-style exposition "The Book of Fairy Tales", which is being held at the National Centre RUSSIA until 1 March. The exposition delves into the legends, crafts, and fairy-tale archetypes of Russian folk culture. Through an "open book" of regions, the visitor enters the Library –Treasure Trove of the Firebird – a space of rare wonders: museum and craft artefacts from the participating regions, gathered as curiosities from its symbolic collection.

From the Treasure Trove, the journey continues into the winter fairy-tale forest of Russia's regions, where each "page" unfolds as a story about the land, its people, and its traditions. Eight participating regions – the Vologda, Stavropol, and Ryazan regions, the Republics of Mordovia and Karelia, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area, the Republic of Komi, and the Kaliningrad region – create a living map of the country and its winter tales.
