On 15 December, the opening day of the National Centre RUSSIA branch in the Krasnoyarsk region, the regional media hackathon of the "First Neural Content Cup" commenced. This is a competition during which participants will create positive media content about the achievements of Russia in the future using neural networks and other AI tools. The organisers are the National Centre RUSSIA, the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunity", the Internet Development Institute, and the ANO "Artificial Intelligence Technology Development".

The theme of the "First Neurocontent Cup" media hackathon is "The Krasnoyarsk Region of the Future is...". The competition will feature four case studies: "A Place of Strength and Amazing Tourist Opportunities: From Protected Taiga to Gastronomic Delicacies", "A Multinational and Multicultural Family, Respecting The Traditions of Each Family Member", "A Centre for Global Scientific Development and Innovations", and "A Territory of Successful Youth, Capable of Incredible Discoveries and Achievements".

"Hello, Siberia! Hello, Krasnoyarsk! We have finally reached the banks of the Yenisei. And even though it's a harsh winter outside, Krasnoyarsk is sparing us. We are warming up with genuine Siberian hospitality. We are starting the most wintery, the snowiest hackathon as part of the 'First Neurocontent Cup'. Today is 15 December, and there are literally just over two weeks left until the New Year. I hope to see at least a few miracles, at least in your content generations. I am glad to welcome all designers, developers, content managers, copywriters, video makers, motion designers, creatives, students, and independent authors who use neural networks to create innovative and socially significant viral content," host Alexander Molochko greeted the participants and guests.

The "First Neurocontent Cup" is a contest aimed to create positive digital content about the image of Russia's future using neural networks and artificial intelligence. Its goal is to discover the potential of creative industry professionals and become part of a unique community where bold digital experiments are born.

"Today at the 'First Neurocontent Cup', we definitely have the strongest line-up of participants across all three stages. At the same time, the first two hackathons have already helped form a professional community of content creators and an entire support system for talented IT specialists in our country. For the participants, it is an opportunity to create unique, positive content about Russia's achievements that will be seen by everyone," said Gennady Guryanov, Director of the ANO "Artificial Intelligence Technology Development".

The winners will receive 500 thousand roubles for the production of socially significant content.

Previously, the "First Neurocontent Cup" media hackathon was held at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow on 8 October. It took place as part of the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future". There were 416 participants from 70 regions of Russia and the Republic of Abkhazia registered. Experts selected 99 individuals, who formed 24 teams.

The works focused on the common theme — "Russia of the future is...", to explore which the teams used neural networks to visualise images across four key areas: "Technologies of Tomorrow", "The Human of the Future", "Cities of the Future", and "The Union of Science and Creativity". The video by the winning Moscow team, KROLIKI (RABBITS), amassed over one million views.
