25 reasons for pride: the Chechen Republic — a land of renewed strength
The Chechen Republic is not just a region that has endured tragedy. It is a land that has proven revival is possible. This is a story of how a policy of peace, respect, and creation can change the fate of millions in just twenty years.
We continue our special project "25 Reasons for Pride," dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the first inauguration of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. This date has become a symbol of a new course — the restoration of peace, the strengthening of the country, and the return of hope for the future.
One of the brightest examples of this path is the Chechen Republic.
99% of Grozny, once destroyed, has been rebuilt: the capital has transformed into a modern, comfortable, and safe city. Thousands of kilometers of roads, bridges, an airport, railway stations, public spaces, and sports arenas have been constructed.
More than 300 new schools and kindergartens have been opened, including the unique Akhmat Educational Centre — a symbol of the region’s intellectual revival.
The healthcare system has been developed: new hospitals, cardiology centres, digital diagnostics, and support for rural areas. The Chechen Republic leads among Russian regions in birth rate and life expectancy. National culture, family values, and spiritual traditions have become the foundation of a new social policy.
