28 June is Youth Day
On Youth
Day, the National Centre RUSSIA congratulates everyone who strives for
knowledge, is not afraid to dream, creates new projects and is already shaping
what tomorrow will look like for our country. Supporting young people, helping
them unlock their talents and creating opportunities for professional and
creative development are among the key areas of the National Centre RUSSIA’s
work.
Youth is a
time of opportunities, bold ideas and first major achievements. The National
Centre RUSSIA creates a space where children and young people can develop their
talents, gain new knowledge, meet recognised professionals and take their first
steps in their chosen careers.
One such
project is the Young Journalists School, an educational programme for teenagers
aged 12 to 17, where participants learn the basics of modern journalism,
blogging and media content creation, work with experienced mentors and build
their own professional portfolios. The project helps nurture a new generation
of media professionals who will be able to tell engaging and honest stories
about the people, events and achievements of Russia.
Another
important initiative is the Young Tour Guides School, which helps
schoolchildren learn about the country’s history and culture, develop audience
engagement skills, create fascinating tour routes and become true guides to the
world of Russia’s achievements.
The
Movement of the First Media House has also become an important platform for
developing young talent. It is a modern space that hosts educational
programmes, workshops and practical sessions and where media content is
created. It is here that project participants and guests of the National Centre
can apply their knowledge in practice by working with professional equipment
and industry experts.
Today,
Youth Day brings together millions of schoolchildren, students, young
professionals, scientists, entrepreneurs, volunteers and creative people across
the country. The National Centre RUSSIA creates educational, awareness-raising
and creative projects so that as many children and young people as possible can
find their vocation, bring their ideas to life and contribute to the country’s
development.
Happy Youth
Day! May the road ahead bring as many inspiring discoveries, new opportunities
and major victories as possible!
