More than 17,000 people have visited the architectural exposition "The Birth of Scale" at the National Centre RUSSIA since its opening on March 1. The exposition will finish its work on July 30. The program of the final day of the expo includes thematic panel discussions and a round table "The Architectural Code of Modern Russia", which will include expert discussions on global architecture trends.

The meeting will bring together leading industry experts, architects and designers. The participants will discuss innovative approaches to the design of urban spaces and buildings, and will share their experience in implementing large-scale display projects on the international level. In addition, on the last day of the expo, the ceremonial closing of the display will take place. There, Andrey Chernikhov -- architect, chief curator of the exposition "The Birth of Scale", and his co-curators will be present.

60-minute long guided tours of "the Birth of Scale" exposition are available for guests of the National Centre RUSSIA. During this time, the guide will introduce visitors to the history and achievements of Russian architecture, to key periods of urban planning — from Ancient Rus to the present, and to outstanding architectural projects by Russian masters. All of them are showcased as various layouts, both 3D objects and installations.

In addition, "the Birth of Scale" exposition hosts extensive business and educational programmes, including architectural workshops and educational lectures from the architecture leading experts. The lectures are moderated by art critic and architectural historian Elizaveta Likhacheva.

According to the guides of the National Centre RUSSIA, the greatest interest of the expo's visitors is traditionally aroused by such exhibits as: Tatlin's Tower, Belyana (a kind of boat), The Makhorka Pavilion, Stalin's Skyscrapers and the House of the People's Commissariat of Finance. Namely these layouts collect the most part of questions and requests for clarification from the tour groups.
