The authors of the essays from six countries became the best in the "Investments in the Environment" pitch session of the Open Dialogue
The works of six essayists were recognized as the best in the "Investments in the Environment" pitch session of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" at the National Centre RUSSIA. The pitch sessions on four tracks took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on April 28, with the participation of authors whose essays were selected by the expert council of the National Centre.
On Monday, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted the preliminary pitchings among essayists, based on which international experts determined the speakers for the second day of the Open Dialogue.
The topics of the "Investments in the Environment" pitch session included: ecology; environmental preservation; the future of our planet; the wise use of minerals and resources; as well as the fate of peoples from different continents. Speaking at the pitch session, the expert from France, Chairman of the African Advisory Council Ndengwe François, emphasized that the international community had long awaited such a historic event in a unique format as the Open Dialogue.
"I greet the people of Russia. Today, we are gathered here for a very important event — the Open Dialogue. The topic concerns our common future. We are entering a new international order. As an African, I am very glad that it is Russia leading this movement. We, Africans, have always viewed Russia as our good, heartfelt friends. The new world is becoming multipolar. Russia, together with the BRICS countries, is leading the movement we have been waiting for in Africa for a long time," emphasized Ndengwe François.
The winners of the "Investments in the Environment" session included six top essayists: Ndengwe François, Chairman of the African Advisory Council (France); Janashanta Apeksha, Research Assistant, Vice-President of the University of Sri Jayawardenepura, Sri Lanka Young Biologists Association (Sri Lanka); Igor Pilipenko, Candidate of Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Socio-Economic Issues of Housing Policy, N.M. Rimashevskaya Institute of Socio-Economic Problems of Population, Federal Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Russia); Serdar Rahymov, Media and Cultural Events Specialist at "Yupek Yoly," Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan (Turkmenistan); Osorio Salamanca Victor Jair, Student, Mexico and Russia Cultural House (Mexico); Muskan Gharge, Managing Director, Young Sapiens Network (India).
The Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" continues its work at the National Centre RUSSIA. This unique format has brought together over a hundred participants from 48 countries around the world, including global experts, scientists, young specialists, and essay authors. The event is being held for the first time and aims to create a platform for discussions on the future of the global economy. The Open Dialogue will run at the National Centre RUSSIA from April 28 to 30.
The format of the Open Dialogue is unique. In the context of building a new economic reality, we invited scientists, economists, journalists, businesspeople, and students to present their hypotheses, ideas, and perhaps their own scientific developments. That is, to all those who cares about prosperity and creation based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, and cooperation for the benefit of humanity.

One of the key topics for discussion within the initiative became "Investments in Connectivity," which attracted 24% of the essay authors about the future of the world.
