Russia's drones and satellites create new digital services with export potential
The Eurasian Aerospace Conference was held at the International RUSSIA EXPO. At the field session of the Eurasian Aerospace Congress, experts discussed the development of industrial, educational and scientific cooperation in the aerospace industry.
The discussion centered on the modern application of Earth remote sensing satellites and unmanned aerial vehicles. Leading experts of the industry assessed the efficiency of technology integration in the creation of a common digital space of the regions, and also noted that the integration of technologies into a single aerospace service can provide new service products: fast data collection, data analysis, quality and processing of information.
The aerial footage from space and drones is widely used today to assess the dynamics of construction works, quarry development, land fund control, fire situation and environmental monitoring. Special services, such as Digital Earth, have already been launched in Russia. New 3D models of regional infrastructure and an inter-sectoral digital base are being created. This will make it possible to form a unified aerospace scalable digital monitoring service, which has great export potential.
The discussion of the Eurasian Aerospace Conference will continue in March 2024 on the platform of the RUSSIA EXPO.
