"The Library of the Future" at the National Centre RUSSIA: how books shape tomorrow
"The Library of the Future" is the first hall of the exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA, dedicated to the greatest works of science fiction writers that inspire readers around the world. To a large extent, it is thanks to the books presented on the virtual shelves of the exposition that numerous advanced innovations in science, medicine, technology, and other fields of progress have been conceived and successfully implemented.
Young visitors will get to know Neznaika by Nikolai Nosov and will enjoy walking with him on the Moon. Older visitors will nostalgically remember Alisa Selezneva from the famous book by Kir Bulychev, "Guest from the Future," relive the amazing adventures of the "boy from the suitcase," Elektronik — the main character from Yevgeny Veltistov's book, and dream that one day their children or grandchildren, inspired by the vast global legacy of science fiction, will invent the coveted Time Machine.
In the "Library of the Future" hall, guests will find not only the best science fiction books but also vibrant interactive zones. In the engaging family game "Professions of the Future," one can temporarily become a pilot of a space ship or an engineer of a lunar station, get acquainted with the work of an exoskeleton operator engineer, and other specialists of the present and future. The interactive photo zone "Greetings from Space" will allow you to send a mini-message to a friend or relative in orbit. And the futuristic installation "Infinite Library" literally fascinates with mirrored "bookshelves" that have no end.
