Riches from the deep and wonders of Elbrus: Kabardino-Balkaria at the RUSSIA EXPO
Head of the
Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria Kazbek Kokov began the Day of the Region at the
Exposition by congratulating President Vladimir Putin on his decision to run
for the Russian presidency in 2024.
"Today,
when the whole world has faced various challenges, only our country, only our
President can counter these challenges with a befitting response. And I am sure
that the people, residents, citizens of the country will make their choice. I
have no doubt that this choice will be in favor of Vladimir Vladimirovich
Putin. And we will have a future - not only for our country, but also for the
population of the entire globe!" - Kazbek Kokov emphasized.
The head of
the region spoke about the successes of Kabardino-Balkaria. Several
breakthrough investment projects are being implemented in the region:
development of the Elbrus tourist complex, mining and processing of
tungsten-molybdenum ores at the Tyrnyauz deposit, construction of a greenhouse
complex on 100 hectares in the Chegemsky district.
At the stand of the region guests of the Exposition can get acquainted with the beautiful tourist routes of the Elbrus resort, balneological opportunities of Nalchik sanatoriums, take part in workshops on weaving traditional Adyghe mats - ardzhens, as well as on gold sewing, wool felting, wood carving.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Visitors are presented expositions of 89 regions of Russia, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations. The International RUSSIA EXPO is held from November 4 to April 12 on the territory of VDNH in Moscow.
The large-scale "Journey Across Russia" project will launch at the National Centre RUSSIA on March 1.
