Young Engineer's Day will be held at the RUSSIA EXPO
The
educational and awareness-raising event for schoolchildren and students Young
Engineer's Day will be held on April 14, 2024 within the framework of the
International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH in Pavilion No. 75. Schoolchildren and young
people are invited to engineering shows, quizzes and prize raffles.
Young
Engineer's Day concludes the All-Russian video contest "Believe in the
Present" organized by the PSB Bank. For four months, participants created
video works in which they shared the story of a Russian scientist or designer,
talked about a construction or invention that influenced Russian history, and
speculated about the future of Russia, which is being built thanks to the
contribution of Russian engineers.
The Young
Engineer's Day program consists of entertaining and educational activities for
schoolchildren and students from 10 to 21 years old. In the pavilion it will be
possible to meet a practicing engineer and attend his performance-demonstration
of equipment collection, as well as attend a lecture by Denis Prudnik,
aerospace engineer and specialist in cosmonaut training of the Gagarin
Cosmonaut Training Center, on "Space Technology - Engineering Art"
subject.
In addition to educational lectures, on the day of the event it will be possible to participate in the entertainment program - experiments, interactives, a quiz about Russian engineering - and win memorable thematic prizes, as well as congratulate the winners of the federal project - the All-Russian contest of video clips "Believe in the Present".

The new building of the National Centre RUSSIA, the construction of which was officially launched by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, will feature a unique self-supporting roof.
The event included a presentation of the original futurological novel "Alternative".
Employees and volunteers of the National Centre RUSSIA joined the official launch ceremony of the nationwide campaign "Memory Wall", which was held at the National Centre RUSSIA this year.
