Crimea welcomes the tenth anniversary of the Russian Spring with landscaped parks, new schools and clinics
The
development of social infrastructure, kindergartens, schools, hospitals and
clinics, improvement of parks and public gardens - the participants of the
plenary session dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Crimea's joining Russia
spoke about the changes in the Republic of Crimea.
The city of
federal significance Sevastopol is one of the fastest growing regions of
Russia, said Deputy Governor Maria Litovko. According to her, it is a city in
which you look to the future with confidence.
"For
two decades that Sevastopol was forced to be out of its native harbor, money
was not invested anywhere. In essence, the city was held on the patriotism of
people. And every Sevastopol resident will tell you that they are Russian. Now
new schools and kindergartens have been built for the first time in 20 years,
there are no queues for children under three years old. All necessary
infrastructure is fully available. The population is increasing and the city
will continue to develop, but already now it is very comfortable infrastructure
of a decent level of - beautiful parks, squares. In addition to 300 sunny days
in Crimea, everyone wants to walk in a beautiful park, alley, see the flowers.
And there are so many of these things in the city that everyone can see how the
city is transforming right before their eyes," said Maria Litovko.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, Yuri Gotsanyuk, spoke about carrying out about 900 capital repair measures in the health sector, as well as the construction of two medical centers in Simferopol and Yalta.
"We have completely renewed the medical park in the primary care, carried out about 900 measures of capital repair in the health sector. We have built two huge medical centers in the city of Simferopol and in Yalta, the vascular center of the Republic of Crimea, six centers of addiction care, palliative children's department. We have increased high-tech and primary care six times. We are moving forward, we are not stopping. We thank the Russians, we thank our President Vladimir Putin, who provided support in 2014, because without him it would not have happened. Happy holiday! When we are together, we will always win!" emphasized Yuriy Gotsanyuk.
