Among the main achievements of the region is the "Vysota 239" ("Height 239") workshop. This is Europe’s largest production facility for large-diameter steel pipes. For example, it was here that thee production of water-gas pipes created using continuous furnace welding was launched for the first time. In addition, it is the local production facility that can boast of variable cross-section pipes, which no one else in the world makes.
Thanks to the launch of "Vysota 239" welding shop, the country can use solely domestic large-diameter pipes. Its products can be used in permafrost, at the bottom of the ocean and in earthquake-prone areas.
