Two couples from the Krasnoyarsk Territory will take part in the III All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts". There, they will be among more than 100 couples from across the country joining in a simultaneous wedding ceremony. The grand event will take place on 8 July, the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow.

Among the couples getting married at the festival are Oleg Litovskikh and Yelizaveta Shekhtel from Krasnoyarsk. The bride and groom met a year ago at Yelizaveta's brother's wedding. As Oleg recalls, the world around him seemed transformed that evening. He fell in love and, over time, realised that, in his own words, his soul "had finally found its home".

"I love Liza for everything — above all, for being in my life. It is not just a tender feeling but a profound gratitude for the opportunity to be part of her world. It was the desire to walk through life together and write our shared story, filled with love, mutual understanding and genuine happiness, that inspired me to apply to take part in the festival," said Oleg Litovskikh.

Yelizaveta's feelings are equally strong. She says her love for Oleg is both simple and profound, and she is grateful to fate and to God for bringing him into her life. The couple are now preparing for their wedding and dreaming of having children and a home of their own.

Another couple to tie the knot at the festival on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity will be Yegor Makarevich and Valeria Pagulych. They met on social media, and what began as friendship gradually grew into love. Yegor and Valeria have now been together for eight years. The couple have overcome many challenges, including a serious injury that left Yegor having to learn how to walk again. Throughout his recovery, Valeria remained by his side. The bride and groom describe the rehabilitation process as a shared achievement.

"We have proved that true love overcomes everything. Our story is one of friendship tested by time and fate. We are a team made for love and victory," said Yegor and Valeria.

The main event of the festival's opening day, 8 July, will be the simultaneous wedding ceremony bringing together couples from all over Russia. The celebration will feature the transfer of the flame from the All-Russian Family Hearth, called "Heart of Russia". Newlyweds will receive this symbolic flame from couples who married at previous festivals. The flame originates from Murom, the city associated with Saints Peter and Fevronia, the patron saints of marriage and family. On 9 July, newlyweds, their guests and visitors will be able to attend educational lectures, enjoy a gastronomic and musical programme, and take part in guided tours of expositions operated by the National Centre RUSSIA — "Journey Across Russia" and "Geography Lessons".

For the first time, simultaneous wedding ceremonies held as part of the III All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts" will take place not only at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow but also at the Centre's regional branches, including in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The festival is organised by the National Centre RUSSIA in partnership with the Moscow Government and the Moscow Civil Registry Office.
