Expert Ivan Milovanov: RUSSIA EXPO is a rethinking of the modern image of the country
The EISR
studio at the RUSSIA EXPO hosted the program "Country's Achievements.
People's Affairs." Ivan Milovanov, an expert of the Center for Systemic
Initiatives, winner of the New Media Workshop award and an expert of the House
of Young Legislators under the Federation Council of the Russian Federation,
became the guest of the latest episode.
The topic
of discussion was the influence of media on society. The program participants
touched upon the issues of changes in the modern information environment, the
relationship between content and cultural code.
The RUSSIA
EXPO, in Ivan Milovanov's opinion, is important because it gives people an
opportunity for live and meaningful communication.
"The
vast context of the exposition, communication, interactive program form an idea
of how huge, lively and multifaceted our country is, encourage people to visit
regions or additionally learn something about them. Now we need to shape an
image of what our country and people are, where we are heading and what we
want. This is a rethinking that is worth a lot," Ivan Milovanov said.
According
to Ivan Milovanov, at present there is a paradigm shift, a transition from the
material-technological system of management to the information-algorithmic one.
The
participants of the program discussed the peculiarities of the Western and
Russian cultural code on the example of famous historical events and cartoons.
Cartoons, according to Ivan Milovanov, lay an information basis for children.
The big difference in frame rate, rhythm, soundtrack is noticeable when
comparing, for example, Soviet and modern cartoons.
The expert emphasized that the issue of development of domestic animation was raised by Russian President Vladimir Putin, who noted that the technique of presentation of foreign cartoons differs from the traditional Russian one.
"Our Soviet cartoons, of course, are of a completely different quality, the emotional impact, the aesthetic impact they have on a person in formation is completely different," the head of state said at a meeting with residents during a trip to the Chukotka Autonomous Area.
