Experts of the Open Dialogue at the National Centre RUSSIA took part in a tour of the Victory Museum
Experts of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth," which will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA from April 28 to 30, arrived in Moscow.
A tour was organized for the guests at the most popular exposition of the Victory Museum, "The People's Feat." They were impressed by its scale and the engaging story of the tour guide.
"We traveled back in time and felt what people went through during those difficult wartime periods, how they suffered and fought. I must note how well-designed the museum is. The exposition is thought-out to the smallest details, which helps visitors fully immerse themselves in that period," shared Hossam Ezzeldin, an analyst from Egypt specializing in the circular economy and green banking.
The foreign guest mentioned that it was his first time in Russia. According to him, the people were his most vivid impression.
"They are humane and welcoming. I walked down the street near my hotel, and people offered help even if they didn’t speak my language. They tried to assist and guide me in finding directions or selecting the best restaurant for dinner. And this impression is just from one day in Moscow. I am sure that as I stay here through the end of the week, I will have a chance to meet more people and learn more about the very rich culture of this country," explained Hossam Ezzeldin.
He pointed out that the Open Dialogue is a very important platform that provides an opportunity for people from different countries to meet and try to align their efforts for the future sustainable development of the world.
Naila Mehrabova, a member of the Supervisory Board of Azersun Holding from Azerbaijan, expressed her gratitude for the tour on the eve of Victory Day.
"The tour helped us understand and realize what we as people can achieve for a great cause. Love for the Motherland and for the people unites us and gives us the strength to overcome the incredible. Thanks to the guide Mikhail for this historical excursion," noted Naila Mehrabova.
Grant Bagratyan, Head of the Scientific and Educational Centre for Global Development and Macroeconomics, former Prime Minister, Vice Prime Minister, and Minister of Economy of Armenia, was amazed by the level of the Victory Museum and the exposition "The People's Feat."
"I always happily return to Moscow. I once served in the army here, studied in graduate school, and defended my doctoral dissertation. This city is associated with my warmest memories. Alongside microeconomics and macroeconomics, there exists megaeconomics, which I am involved with. It so happens that those who created the global world are now fighting against it. How wonderful it is that on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, the National Centre conducted such a tour. It is very important to remember history, honor the feats of our ancestors, and especially value the unity of peoples in such an important period," believes Grant Bagratyan.
According to the expert’s belief, regionalisation is occurring now — large regions with 10 million square kilometers and 400–500 million people are being created. There is a redistribution of resources and economic power. He poses the question of what will happen in the new stage in the next 40–60 years. The economist is confident that a complete reboot of the world economic system is underway.
He emphasised that the organisers of the Open Dialogue precisely drew attention to this, and he is eager to express his views on this topic and listen to other experts.
Experts from leading global analytical centres, development institutes, higher education institutions, governmental institutions, business associations, youth organisations, science, and media will participate in the Open Dialogue. Participants in this project will develop unified approaches to ensure the growth of the world economy. The event will also be joined by authors of the best essays from 42 countries, who were selected by the expert council of the National Centre RUSSIA.
The program of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" is published on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA and is available to everyone in Russian, English, Chinese, Arabic, and Portuguese.
One of the tracks of the Open Dialogue is "Investments in Human Capital." The pitch session on this topic brought together over 30 speakers.
One of the key topics for discussion within the initiative became "Investments in Connectivity," which attracted 24% of the essay authors about the future of the world.
The pitch sessions on four tracks took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on April 28, with the participation of authors whose essays were selected by the expert council of the National Centre.
