Essayist of the Open Dialogue from Mexico to explain how to transform education in the age of neural networks
New technologies can be reliable assistants or dangerous
competitors. To avoid falling behind in the race with neural networks, humanity
must already begin to rethink its approach and find new opportunities in
education. This will be the focus of a talk by Homar Sánchez-Olguín, Vice
President for Innovation at 4tools in Mexico, at the II Open Dialogue "The
Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth". The event will
take place from 27 to 29 April at the National Centre RUSSIA.
"I believe that teaching skills alone is no longer
enough. We need to develop cognitive capital — the ability of a person to grow
and evolve alongside AI, becoming its partner rather than its competitor. As
entry-level positions are disappearing from the labour market, the education
system and the state must prepare us to become specialists from the very
beginning of our careers," said Homar Sánchez-Olguín.
The essayist will also present his vision of how multipolar
states can turn the AI revolution into human evolution through more thoughtful
public investment.
The event at the National Centre RUSSIA will bring together
participants from all continents to discuss key global development trends. This
year, 104 authors from 43 countries advanced to the in-person stage of the Open
Dialogue following interviews. The large-scale three-day programme will combine
expert discussions, presentations by the authors of the best essays from across
the world, and informal networking.
The initiative is implemented by the National Centre RUSSIA
in partnership with the Centre for Cross-Industry Expertise "Third
Rome" with the support of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia. Registration
for the II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for
Global Growth" is open until 26 April.
The author spoke in detail about how the structure of the work was developed and the artistic challenges he faced during the writing process.
The International Public and Business Forum "Eurasia — Territory of Traditional Values" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Dmitry Chernyshenko outlined a number of key challenges being addressed by the Government of Russia.
