Flower Festival starts on May 21 at the RUSSIA EXPO

The Future in FLOWERS Festival will introduce more than 100 million flowers to the visitors of the International RUSSIA EXPO over 50 days.

Here on one open-air platform will be presented 89 compositions from all regions of our vast country, where just by taking a walk, you can see the landscape from the far north to the warm south. The authors have tried to recreate the future of their region as a blooming garden with great love for their land. And all this is presented in the capital of our Motherland, at the RUSSIA EXPO.

A bright festival of beauty and fragrance, as well as informative masterclasses from leading florists and a floral fashion show await the guests. The capital will turn into a blooming garden, and the best flower breeders will show their main achievements.

The festival will last from May 21 to July 8 on the open territory of the architectural and park ensemble VDNH, from the Main Entrance Arch to the Industrial Square.

The exposition will feature more than 100 landscape spaces of regions, federal ministries and state corporations, drowning in flowers and greenery, with walking and lounge zones. And more than 50 small floral objects will transform familiar spaces.

The best achievements of Russian flower breeders will not go unnoticed. About 400 varieties of peonies, 140 varieties of lilacs, 120 varieties of irises, 250 varieties of roses, 30 varieties of dahlias will be presented in the workshop "The Future in Flowers". This extravaganza of flowers will be complemented by performances of selection specialists, where they will speak about their best breeding achievements and agricultural techniques of their cultivation. There will be floral masterclasses by florists for adults and children, a floral fashion show and quizzes for children.
