"Gas Dictation" was held at the RUSSIA EXPO
More than 200 students of the country's leading universities wrote the "Gas Dictation" at the RUSSIA EXPO. The "Gas Dictation" was conducted by Sergei Malozemov, journalist, TV presenter of the NTV channel, author of the program "Miracle of Technology". The campaign was held within the framework of the Space Week. Therefore, 25 questions in the test were devoted not only to the history and achievements of the modern gas industry, but also to its importance for the development of cosmonautics. The "Gas Dictation" was launched by Oleg Artemyev, pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of the Russian Federation.
The event was organized by Gazprom JSC, Gazprom Transgaz Ufa LLC and Ufa State Petroleum Technical University, Gazprom's core university.
"Gazprom plays an important part not only in the development of individual sectors of the economy, but also in the entire country. Natural gas has a great future, and we need the best human resources to further develop the industry for the benefit of our country. We are interested in young and ambitious people joining our team. And we are ready to offer you an opportunity to unlock your potential and achieve impressive results together with us," said Elena Borisovna Kasyan, Head of the Gazprom Department, in her video greeting to the event participants.
The "Gas Dictation" tradition was born in Bashkortostan. The project was initiated by Gazprom Transgaz Ufa.
"The 'Gas Dictation' is not just a way to test one's erudition, it is an opportunity to learn about the rich history of the gas industry and the most diverse tasks that gas workers face. The event was first held in Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, in 2022. About eight thousand people all over the country took part in it!" noted Shamil Sharipov, Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Ufa LLC.
The participants of the "Gas Dictation" were also given a special question for the prize of Gazprom Transgaz Ufa CEO Shamil Sharipov. Mikhail Panov, a student of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, answered it correctly.

"I did not expect to get such a high result. I am very glad to be among the winners of the "Gas Dictation" professional event. The questions were quite difficult. When answering them, I intuitively tried to choose large numbers. Because Gazprom is a major company".
Nikita Generalov, student of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas:
"There were interesting questions about the gas industry and Gazprom's activities. I liked Sergei Malozemov's lecture on 10 modern technologies. I will definitely take part in this event next time"
The winners received memorable prizes and gifts, including the Russian Gas Encyclopedia. Anyone can test their knowledge and erudition on the website газовыйдиктант.рф until April 21. Each participant will receive an electronic certificate at the end of the test.
