Director General of the Congolese News Agency: "Hospitality in Russia is something sacred"
During the operation of the International Press Centre at the National Centre RUSSIA, established to cover the Eighth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum and the Third Russia–Africa Summit, Olga Rachelle Mangouandza, Director General of the Agence Congolaise d’Information (Congolese News Agency), shared her impressions of her visit to Russia. She said the trip had left all members of the delegation with very warm memories, thanks in large part to Russian hospitality.
"We realised that hospitality in Russia is something sacred. We were given a very warm welcome, and that makes me truly happy — especially as we have signed partnership agreements with Russian news agencies. The presence here of our country's President, Denis Sassou Nguesso, also confirmed that our countries have established very strong ties," Olga Rachel Manguandza said.
The International Press Centre at the National Centre RUSSIA welcomed 1,700 media representatives from 70 countries. For many of them, working at the National Centre RUSSIA was not only a new professional experience, but also an opportunity to get to know the country better, including through a guided tour of the flagship exposition "Journey Across Russia".
From 26 to 30 October, the International Press Centre at the National Centre RUSSIA welcomed representatives of around 200 media organisations.
The remote stage has concluded. Applications were received from 70 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, representing all eight federal districts, including the historical territories.
The conversation about what the unity of Russia's peoples means continues. Cultural figures, scientists, athletes and representatives of other professions share their personal reflections.
