More than a thousand people attended the concert.
Guests of the National Centre RUSSIA heard new interpretations of famous compositions and original works. The audience also got a behind-the-scenes look at the concert, both on screens and through a live broadcast.
"Guitarist and composer Roman Miroshnichenko is known worldwide. He is not only a laureate of international awards but also a Guinness World Record holder. We have already collaborated with Roman at the RUSSIA EXPO, and now we have prepared this concert together. Once again, we aimed to surprise our guests with an unusual format. Rock, jazz, flamenco, and ethnic music came together on stage. The audience also got a real-time behind-the-scenes experience, seeing how musicians prepared and what they did before going on stage," said Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA.
Roman Miroshnichenko is a musician and laureate of international awards whose name has become synonymous with innovation and virtuosity. His unique style blends jazz, rock, Latin, and ethnic music. The artist has gained worldwide recognition for his mastery, signature sound, and original compositions. According to the musician, the highlight of the concert program at the National Centre RUSSIA was its lineup, which included both young performers and experienced musicians.
"I performed as part of the International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH. I am grateful to the management of the National Centre RUSSIA and the entire team, who turned out to be great fans of guitar music. It’s truly rewarding. It is very important for us to be able to showcase instrumental music at such a high level. People often have the stereotype that music without vocals isn't engaging. However, modern instrumental music is a serious genre, and I have managed to succeed in it. This time, we created a solo program that also features guest artists, which is fantastic. There is an idea to hold a series of masterclasses at the National Centre RUSSIA. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with young musicians," said Roman Miroshnichenko.
Marco Mendoza, bassist and vocalist, arrived from Mexico and shared that this was not his first time in Russia, expressing his excitement to perform at the National Centre RUSSIA.
"This is a special performance for me. Every time I’m invited to Moscow, I do my best to come. I love the fans in Russia, love the fans in Moscow. I’ve played here with many famous bands. Today, I played with Roman Miroshnichenko and young musicians," said Marco Mendoza.
The young generation was represented in the concert program by the Yunash Bros Trio. The brothers performed original compositions incorporating Spanish and American rhythms. According to the artists, it is crucial for them to share instrumental music with a wide audience. To attract younger listeners to the guitar rmusic, the trio incorporates new sounds to their compositions, such as adding electronic music.
Vadim Chebanov, laureate of Russian and international competitions and leading acoustic guitarist in Russia, also spoke about attracting young audiences, noting that "the sound of acoustic music can be unusual, but it always finds its listener."
"Much depends on how and what is played, on the musician. When we perform, people in the audience react in the best way, as they did today," emphasized Vadim Chebanov.
The guitarist added that organizing such concerts is essential so that more people can discover interesting instrumental music.
