Hot springs, the ancient capital of Siberia and the Dead Sea: the Tyumen region welcomes guests
There are many informative stands at the RUSSIA EXPO. For example, the Tyumen region presented one of them. The region has much to boast about: it is among the leaders in terms of quality of life and investment climate. The exposition introduces the achievements, history and cultural heritage of the Tyumen region. And, of course, it inspires to travel to this unique land.
It is no secret that the region is famous for its hot springs and thermal waters. Tyumen is even recognized as the thermal water capital of Russia. People from all over the world come here to bathe and recover. You can learn about the origin of the springs at the stand. It turns out that it is all about the unique West Siberian Sea, discovered in the 50-ies of the last century.
The Tyumen region introduces its history in an original way — with the help of a huge interactive newspaper. Its pages tell about the development of Siberia and the creation of the first city on its territory, the development of the oil industry — the key industry for the region, scientific discoveries of Mendeleev — a native of Tobolsk.
You can also learn a lot of interesting things about Tobolsk itself — the ancient capital of Siberia — at the stand. And it is even better to visit this unique city, which is called an open-air museum. Be sure to see the stone Kremlin, visit museums, temples and the prison castle. And in the evening admire the beautiful sunset from the fortress.
You can also walk in the "Zatyumensky" park, which is adored by both locals and guests, admire Jupiter, Saturn, stars and galaxies in the "Old Tower" observatory and enjoy the famous mineral springs in the beautiful "Taiga" ecopark. By the way, for recovery locals also advise you to swim in the Salt Lake, which is called the Dead Sea because of the high concentration of salt. The reservoir has become popular thanks to the therapeutic mud. And after a healing bath you can rinse yourself in the freshwater lake Dolgoe, which is located nearby.
The final panel pitching session for the "Investments in Connectivity" track took place on 29 April at the National Centre RUSSIA.
On the second day of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" the most remarkable essays submitted by authors in each track were presented.
