Guests of the Gastronomic Rows can enjoy a special offer from March 18 to 20
Visitors to the National Centre RUSSIA can savor the southern cuisine of Crimea at the Gastronomic Rows. On Crimea Reunification Day, March 18, special promotions will be available for guests. For example, the famous Crimean chebureks will be offered at a 20% discount. The promotion will run until March 20.
The peninsula's national cuisine is featured in the "South" corner of the Gastronomic Rows, where guests can enjoy dishes filled with the warmth and aromas of Crimea. The menu includes fried Adyghe cheese paired with a unique combination of adjika and jam, bread slice with beef, rapan (sea snail) stroganoff, Kuban pilaf, kurze, chudu, and pelmeni with various fillings, as well as Ossetian pies and baklava. There are also cabbage rolls stewed in sour cream sauce, quince baked with honey and nuts, urbech, eggplants and tomatoes with a nut dressing, and much more.
"Crimean chebureks are a traditional dish of the Crimean Tatars. Arguably the most popular street food in Russia, they gained widespread recognition during the Soviet era. Crimean chebureks are half-moon-shaped pastries made from unleavened dough, filled with minced meat, onions, spices, and a small amount of water. Instead of one large cheburek, we offer two small beef chebureks and three lamb chebureks at the 'South' corner, as well as Far Eastern chebureks with Commander squid, chum salmon, and cod at the 'East' corner," said Yekaterina Shapovalova, the author of the "Gastronomic Map of Russia" project.
The "South" gastronomic space offers an opportunity to learn more about the culinary traditions of this region. Special programs and master classes will introduce guests to traditional dishes and the secrets passed down through generations. They will also explore how Russia's southern regions blend different cultural influences in their cuisine and why food in the South is not just nourishment but also a way to express love and respect.
The Gastronomic Rows are part of the large-scale project "Journey Across Russia." The project's exposition showcases the achievements and landmarks of all federal districts of the country. Visitors can explore the "Journey Across Russia" exposition free of charge as part of guided tour groups. Registration is available on the website russia.ru.
