Guests of the RUSSIA EXPO made Saratov souvenirs as keepsakes
On Russia Day, at the International RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH in Moscow, an interactive local history platform "Russia Begins with My Small Homeland" was presented. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the rich history of our region.
Guests of the RUSSIA EXPO were invited to complete a creative task — to match game cards of municipal districts with cards about their unique features.
According to Dmitry Eyrikh, a research associate at the "Russia — My History" historical park in Saratov, our region is one of the most interesting in Russia — the homeland of brilliant and talented individuals who played a significant role not only in the history of the Saratov region but also of the country as a whole.
"Our region is one of geniuses and talents. And on our national holiday, we are happy to share the history of our land with guests," he noted.
As a memento of visiting the stand, guests were also able to make a small souvenir with their own hands — a badge featuring the main symbols of Saratov and the region.
The Saratov stand attracted visitors from all over the country.
Hosted festive events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Association of Indigenous Small-Numbered Peoples of the North, Siberia, and the Far East of the Russian Federation, and the 95th anniversary of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.
The international campaign "Victory Dictation" took place in Moscow on April 25 across 497 venues.
Essayist participating in the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" took a guided tour of the interactive exposition "Journey Across Russia".
