Ingushetia to present the technique of carpet making at the RUSSIA EXPO
The unique technique of making felt carpets with national ornaments, revived in Ingushetia, will be presented at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
In addition to felt carpets, the region’s stand will also be decorated with revived national musical instruments. They will symbolize the cultural wealth and historical heritage of Ingushetia. However, it is the industrial potential that the region will put the main emphasis on.
"In recent years, industry and agro-industrial complex have been actively developing in the republic, and we have a lot to show. For example, the products of the "RIAC" aluminum profile plants and "ATM" heating radiators, the relaunched shoe and clothing factories, apples and tomatoes from the "Ingushetia" giant orchard and the "Sunzha" agricultural complex, "Achaluki" mineral water and meat products from the "Yuzhny" poultry complex. This is only a small part of what we intend to show", — said Aslan Nalgiev, acting minister of economic development of the region.
As a reminder, it will be possible to see the stand of Ingushetia and other regions at the International RUSSIA EXPO. The event will be held in Moscow on the territory of VDNH from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024.
During the all-Russian survey "What does the Motherland begin with?", people across the country are answering this question in their own way, opening up the innermost corners of their souls.
Souvenir nevalyashkas (traditional Russian roly-poly dolls), are attracting particular attention, with guests choosing them for their harmonious combination of Russian colour and traditional Chinese symbols.
Under the guidance of artisans, each guest made an unusual souvenir that can become either a personal talisman or a gift with a special story.
