Foreign experts of the Open Dialogue visited the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye
The Open Dialogue's foreign experts paid a visit to the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye. Among the first guests were Rupa Chanda (India), Director of the UNESCAP Department of Trade, Investment and Innovation, and Mustafizur Rahman (Bangladesh), Professor, Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). They had a guided tour of the exposition and shared their impressions of its contents and development prospects.
"We had a wonderful tour of the city and of the National Centre branch. Our guide gave us very detailed information about the history of Vladivostok, its topography, culture, economy and what this city is known for. All this was well presented at the display. Also, there were many different aspects from biodiversity to economics and science shown. Everything is beautifully arranged here, and the interactive part was both fascinating and useful," said Rupa Chanda.
She also asked to translate the information from the stands into English, as the visual and interactive parts of the expositions turned out to be extremely interesting, but it was not possible to read more about them. According to Rupa Chanda, this will help to increase the interest of international students and visitors to the exposition.
"Vladivostok is growing quite a lot. I believe that for tourists, especially from Southeast and South Asia, it can become a future tourist point of attraction. I am sure that this will be so," she said.
Mustafizur Rahman, Professor, Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) from Bangladesh, also said that he was impressed by what he saw at the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region.
"I was very glad to be among the first visitors to the National Centre RUSSIA branch. It was opened just a few days ago by President Vladimir Putin. I wish the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region all the best," Mustafizur Rahman emphasized. "The tour was very interesting. I learned about the past, present and future of the Primorye region. It has a very rich legacy, and we managed to get an idea of what it was like before, what it is now, and we were told about its achievements, and what is planned for the future."
