How do fashion brands influence regional life, shape new urban environments, and inspire people to care for their surroundings? Answers to these questions will be presented at the open discussion "How Fashion Brands and Cultural Initiatives Transform Life of Regions," which will take place within the expert program on architecture and urbanism "Looking into the Future" at the National Centre RUSSIA on April 8.

Together with the digital publication PEOPLETALK, event guests will discuss why it is important to develop local projects, how a sense of attachment to one's hometown influences its transformation, and what concrete steps help regions become more attractive. The designer of the conceptual brand from the Far North, Gapanovich, Alexandra Gapanovich, will share how she reinterprets Russia’s uniqueness in her work, conveying national identity through the local code of the northern regions.

The owner of ASKERI GALLERY and a promoter of contemporary art, Polina Askeri, will share her experience in creating an art residency for artists in Zaraysk, Moscow region. The founder of Keep Looking Group, Ksenia Shipilova, will present the "Threads" project — an all-Russian fashion industry competition aimed at developing the design environment in the Ivanovo region. The artistic director of the Nikola-Lenivets Art Park and the "Archstoyanie" festival, Nikolai Polissky, will talk about how a small village in the Kaluga region transformed into the largest art park in Europe. The discussion will be moderated by PEOPLETALK's editor-in-chief, Ksenia Anosova.

The event will serve as a platform for discussing how culture and fashion can transform the space around us. Accreditation for the event is available via the link.
