The collection of accessories inspired by the works of Vasily Polenov will be presented at the Department Store
In spring
2025, the collection of bags and accessories, combining the traditional
artistic motifs of Vasily Polenov's works with modern design, will be showcased
at the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA.
At the end
of January, a meeting was held at the National Centre between Maria Gromyko,
Deputy Head of the Department of Social Communications and Regional Interaction
at the ANO DEA RUSSIA, Russian museologist and Director of the State Memorial
Historical, Artistic and Natural Museum-Reserve of V.D. Polenov, Natalia
Polenova, and the founder of the Kaliningrad Region-based brand Voilà Yelena
Kirpicheva.
The
participants of the meeting discussed the collaboration between the Voilà brand
and the State Memorial Historical, Artistic, and Natural Museum-Reserve of V.D.
Polenov. The collection presentation will take place at the Department Store of
the National Centre RUSSIA. The Voilà brand has already earned recognition
among customers of the Department Store at the RUSSIA EXPO and, through its
participation in the project, expanded production and even opened a new sales
point.
The
presentation of the new collection is expected this spring. This year marks the
175th anniversary of Yelena Polenova’s birth — an artist, graphic designer,
painter, master of decorative design, and one of the first illustrators of
children’s books in Russia. Yelena Polenova is also one of the founders of the
Art Nouveau style in Russian art. The presentation of the new collection is
timed to coincide with her anniversary.
More than 12,000 people saw the production live, while the online version was watched by over 3.5 million viewers.
As part of the first celebration of Artist’s Day at the National Centre RUSSIA, state awards were presented to cultural figures.
