KRASNOYARSK REGION WILL DISPLAY A HUGE SCULPTURE OF THE YENISEI RIVER AT THE RUSSIA EXPO
The Krasnoyarsk region exposition at the International RUSSIA EXPO will be dedicated to its most important achievements. The central object will be the Yenisei River, which will be represented by a five-metre sculpture, brought to life by modern technologies. In addition, the exposition will feature local brands, including books by authors from the Krasnoyarsk region, as well as traditional crafts of Northern peoples.
In the recently launched voting on the Achievements.rf portal, the region presented 15 major projects in various sectors. Among them are the most important sporting and cultural events. For example, the region hosted the XXIX World Winter Universiade 2019, as well as the World of Siberia International Festival of Ethnic Music and Crafts. A large number of tourist locations and programmes were presented, including cruises on the Yenisei River, Arctic zone routes, and the Gremyachaya Griva city park. Among the latest technical developments nominated for the competition are new generation biosensors created in the laboratory of bioluminescent biotechnologies. Of particular interest are the passenger terminal of the D.A. Khvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk International Airport, the Lower Anrara region development project and two sports centres: the D.G. Mindiashvili Wrestling Academy and the Academy of Winter Sports.
The International RUSSIA EXPO will be held at VDNH from November, 4, with all 89 Russian regions presenting their expositions. The focus is on key achievements in various spheres.
Sergei Melikov emphasised that the Government of Russia provides systemic support to the republic in implementing the large-scale Caspian Coastal Cluster project.
The central event of the festival will be an exposition of 59 prototypes of games and toys developed by the contestants in five thematic areas.
The National Centre RUSSIA launched a series of meetings with the heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation "Platform of the Future: Region 2030. 100 Steps".
