Crimeans will choose Ambassador who will represent the region at RUSSIA EXPO
The Republic of Crimea has started voting for an Ambassador who will represent the region at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
The regional Ministry of internal policy, information and communications reported that among the ambassadors there are 22 respected people known for their work and dedication to the republic.
Among those who were submitted to the vote is Andrew Kondrashov, a Russian reporter, TASS director general and the author of the film "Crimea. Way back home", Edgard Zapashny, a performer and representative of a legendary circus dynasty, originally from Yalta, Daniil Khlusevich, a Russian football player, the midfielder of the Russian national and "Spartak" Moscow teams, Vladimir Titov, a Russian astronaut who flew as a commander of the spacecraft "Soyuz T-8" as well as other leaders of science and culture, athletes and representatives of diverse spheres.
Voting is open until September 24, inclusive. Voters can get acquainted with the ambassadors submitted and vote for them on the official website of the Ministry of internal policy, information and communications of the Republic of Crimea.
It should be noted that the International RUSSIA EXPO will be open soon, on November 4. It will be held in Moscow at VDNH and complete its work on April 12. Over 70 objects of VDNH infrastructure will be involved to host expositions with a total area of more than 250,000 square meters. All the Russian regions as well as governmental authorities, major corporations, public associations, delegations from foreign countries are going to participate in the event. Guests will also be offered a large cultural and entertainment, business and educational program.
In 2018, Russia became the country that hosted the best FIFA World Cup in history — according to the organisers themselves and fans from around the world.
More than one hundred representatives from 48 countries gathered in Moscow, at the National Centre RUSSIA, for the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World.
