Before the official draw ceremony for the participants in the Final of the International Music Contest "Intervision" at the National Centre RUSSIA, the foreign guests were introduced to the space of the National Centre, where the history, culture, achievements and traditions of different peoples of the country are presented. Slobodan Trkulja, Serbian representative at the contest, and Cultural Ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, shared his impressions of visiting the expositions.

At the "Journey Across Russia" exposition, a foreign guest rode a handcar along the famous Baikal-Amur Mainline, made a wish by spinning the Buryat prayer drum named khurde, tried himself in the professions of the future and, of course, took a lot of memorable photos.

"The display is organized very professionally and creatively. That was one of the first impressions I had. This is not my first visit to Russia. I know quite a lot about the history of the country, but, of course, not everything, so I had the opportunity to dive into subtler details and hear more stories, especially about new technologies that are still being developed. Russia is indeed one of the leaders in the modern world, including in the field of technology, and other areas. And of course, as an artist, I am always interested in history and culture: for example, it was fascinating to learn that the place where Prince Vladimir was baptized was the city of Chersonesos. All these are very important things that need to be known and re-studied," Slobodan Trkulja is convinced.

Slobodan Trkulja, composer, singer and producer with more than 25 years of creative experience, is one of the founders of the genre of modern Balkan traditional music. His compositions harmoniously combine folk Balkan rhythms and melodies, jazz standards, and even throat singing.

The "Intervision-2025" is an international music contest, the final of which will be held on 20 September 2025 in Moscow, at the Live Arena. Performers from 23 countries will take part in it. In this project, Russia will be presented by Yaroslav Dronov (SHAMAN).
