"Love for the Motherland is a way of life": winners of the prize drawing organized by the National Centre RUSSIA set off along the "Routes of Victory"
Ekaterina Suvorova, a dweller of the Saratov region,
together with her family went on a trip along the "Routes of Victory"
organized by the National Centre RUSSIA. She won a ticket in the draw game, which was held by the National Centre
RUSSIA together with the Movement of the First in the social network VKontakte.
The weekend tour included seeing the expositions of the
National Centre RUSSIA, and visiting the memorable places in Moscow dedicated
to the events of the Great Patriotic War and the heroic pages of the history of
our country.
The
sightseeing and educational project "Routes of Victory" was developed
by the National Centre RUSSIA and the Republican Unitary Enterprise National
Exposition Centre "BelExpo".
The starting point of the family's tourist route was the
"Journey Across Russia" display at the National Centre RUSSIA. The
Suvorovs family were given a guided tour, during which they saw the main sights
and technical achievements, and got acquainted with culture and customs of all
federal districts of Russia.
The travelers especially liked the expositions that
represent the Manzherok mountain resort in the Altai Republic and the Crimean
Bridge. They were also interested in the model of water transport named Meteor
120R. It is a new generation of hydrofoil riverboats which are an ideal choice
for fast and convenient trips along the Volga.
Ekaterina Suvorova thinks that it is her duty to raise love
for the Motherland in people, to tell them about the history of her country,
the heroes of her family, and to support those who defend it.
"For me, love for the Motherland is not just words, but
a way of life. I grew up in a military family, and since my childhood I have
imbibed the values of honor, dignity, and patriotism. Just like our parents, we
strive to pass on these values to our daughter, and show by our example what it
means to be citizens of our country," Ekaterina Suvorova noted.
The next points of the "Victory Routes" were the
cable car to Vorobyovy Gory, the Kremlin territory, Red Square, Alexander
Garden and Zaryadye Park. Throughout the first day, the guests were accompanied
by a tour guide, who shared interesting facts about Moscow along the way.
On the second day, the route passed through the Victory
Museum on Poklonnaya Gora, the Museum of Music, the "Memorial Road"
Museum Complex and the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces.
The winners of the draw game said that they had been to just
a few tour locations before this trip, and that they were very impressed and
felt proud of their country.
The Suvorovs family expressed their sincere gratitude to the
National Centre RUSSIA for the opportunity to visit such iconic and important
places, which are associated with the heroes, exploits, and history of the
great country. Also, they liked very much the spots that show the beauty of the
capital and its surroundings.
The "Routes of Victory" project's programme allows
participants to immerse in the heroic history of two fraternal peoples: the
Russian and the Belarusian ones. Also, it tells a story about the events that
forever changed the course of history, and makes people feel inspired by our
common achievements.
The weekend tourist routes to places of military glory are
held both in Russia and in Belarus. The tours in Russia cover Moscow and the
Moscow region, and the Belarus itinerary includes visits to Vitebsk, Minsk and
Brest. There are several tour options available to guests.
On July 22, journalists taking part in the RT Arabic experience exchange programme visited the National Centre RUSSIA.
The cultural and linguistic diversity is the wealth of Russia.
The author's edition dedicated to the works of the outstanding Soviet poet Mikhail Matusovsky was presented by the delegation from Lugansk to the National Centre RUSSIA.
