Maxim Oreshkin: Open Dialogue is a global initiative
How did a single initiative bring together experts from more than 100 countries? Speaking at the Summer Expert Meetings of the Open Dialogue, Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, answered this question by explaining that the project's central idea is to bring people from around the world together to exchange views and develop new solutions.
"We are creating the Open Dialogue so that everyone can come together here, communicate and exchange ideas. This is not only about Russian society — it is a global initiative," said Maxim Oreshkin.
The Summer Expert Meetings took place at the National Centre RUSSIA as part of the annual Open Dialogue project, "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth", launched on the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. Participants discussed the key findings of the report "Humanity, Technology and Globalisation: A New System of Coordinates" prepared by the Centre for Cross-Industry Expertise "Third Rome", as well as the five megatrends shaping the development of the modern world.
The main topic of the meeting was the future of the digital economy and the interaction between digital platforms and artificial intelligence.
Essays for the next series of expert meetings were accepted until 7 July.
