Maria Zakharova: RUSSIA EXPO is held to demonstrate the country's achievements
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has invited everyone to the International RUSSIA EXPO. The diplomat spoke about the exposition in her Telegram channel, posting a video with details about the program for guests and how to join the forum team.
"The exposition is held to demonstrate the most important achievements of our country in various sectors of the economy, including industry, energy, agro-industrial complex, transportation, construction, science, culture and positive experience of development of the country’s regions", — Maria Zakharova noted.
The diplomat emphasized that all 89 Russian regions, federal executive authorities, major companies and delegations of foreign countries will take part in the exposition. It is important that the exposition will become a platform for the largest events of the country.
Maria Zakharova didn’t announce all the points of the program, but she did mention some of the events. For example, the Russian Society "Knowledge" will hold its educational marathon "Knowledge.First". There will also be an award ceremony for the winners of the educational award "Knowledge".
During the days of regions all subjects of the Russian Federation will present their achievements. Plans include performances of creative groups and even acquaintance with gastronomic traditions of different places.
Also, applications for the guide selection contest are still being accepted until September 15. There will be 2 thousand of them working at the exposition.
Young participants of the workshop "Modelling — a Prototype with Your Own Hands," held on May 31 at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The history of Russian architecture, bold concepts, and Soviet urban planning projects realised across the globe were presented to delegations of the exposition on May 31.
The award ceremony for the winners of the All-Russian video essay contest "Dreams of the Future" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA on June 1, International Children's Day.
