More than 190 thousand people visited the International RUSSIA EXPO on the first day — it’s a record!
More than 190,000 people visited the International RUSSIA EXPO on the first day. The exposition started on the National Unity Day at the VDNH in Moscow. On November 4, concerts, educational events, openings of new pavilions and presentations were held at the Exposition.
The first event of the International RUSSIA EXPO was a massive flash mob: visitors together with choreographers danced at 10 VDNH venues at once. During the starting day of the gastronomic festival "Russia — Territory of Taste", chefs and restaurateurs presented dishes of the cuisines of the peoples of Russia to the visitors.
Expositions of all 89 regions of Russia, as well as ministries, major companies and state corporations were opened. The educational program included a marathon "Knowledge.First" from the Russian Society "Knowledge". The first day of the Exposition ended with the show "Portal to the Future", featuring Larisa Dolina, Yulianna Karaulova, SHAMAN and Natalia Podolskaya.
On November 5, on the RUSSIA EXPO grounds there will be the gala concert "Wind Rose — Achievement of Russia", where young talents from all over Russia will perform, and a VK concert with Antoha MC, GAYAZOV$ BROTHER$, Ramil' and Seville.

Visiting the exposition is free of charge. Pre-registration is required for certain events.
The lecture "Russian Architecture in the Global Context" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on May 30.
On May 30, the declaration on the establishment of the International Association of Children's Organisations (IACO) was signed at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The workshop "Apartment Planning Through a Child’s Eyes" took place on May 30 as part of the educational programme of "The Birth of Scale" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA.
