Moscow Fashion Week at the RUSSIA EXPO ended with a show of designers from Moscow, Penza, Medvezhegorsk and Yakutsk
On March 8, on the final day of Moscow Fashion Week, the RUSSIA EXPO hosted shows of four designers from Moscow, Penza, Medvezhegorsk and Yakutsk.
The goal of designer Anastasia Ryzhkova from Penza was to convey the beauty of Russia's marshlands, so colors such as beige and khaki prevail in the new collection. Bright accents are also not accidental: red represents a scattering of cranberries, yellow - lilies, delicate blue - sparkling dew on moss. Along with the color palette, the idea was realized thanks to precise details: the models came on the catwalk in high rubber boots, with a net for butterflies or a voluminous plush frog. GRUSHEVAYA brand uses only natural eco-friendly fabrics.
The young brand PAVLOVA DREAM from Medvezhegorsk (Karelia) specializes in the production of women's and children's clothing in the urban chic style. The collection was dedicated to the beauty of a modern girl and the nature of her native land. Designer Yulia Pavlova works with traditional crafts and historical heritage of Karelia, that is why there are so many national patterns and original prints in the clothes. The first models on the runway were wearing white linen maxi sundresses with lace and accent embroidery, and then several looks with A-shaped mid-length dresses of pink and lingonberry shades with voluminous bouffant sleeves were presented. The show was closed by an elegant double trouser suit in black.
INNIKI brand from Yakutsk showed a conceptual Delta collection, in which the main motif was the curves of the Lena River, the natural treasure of Russia. Designer Izabella Dordosova developed an author's technique that helps to convey the complex natural pattern in clothing for men and women. For example, the construction of cloaks and jackets is held on a natural leather frame, over which intricate leather patterns are attached. The main accents of the collection are geometric shapes, bright juicy colors and natural fabrics.
The main color of the new Citrine collection by Moscow brand Alena Nega is yellow. Designer Alena Nega was inspired by bright and fresh shades of citrine stone. Flowing lemon-colored fabrics - transparent chiffon and shimmering organza - contrast with dense dark textures. The combination of strict lines, graphic and textured cuts created a harmonious duet of tenderness and boldness. The designer showed twenty-one looks of silhouetted evening sets, immersing in the atmosphere of bright summer thanks to the sunny lemon palette.
