Musical evening "Music of Victory" was held at the National Centre RUSSIA
The musical and patriotic evening "Music of
Victory," dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, took place
at the National Centre RUSSIA on May 7. Guests of the "Journey Across
Russia. Food" space heard wartime melodies in modern arrangements. The
concert was held, among other things, as part of the Year of the Defender of
the Fatherland, announced by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin
in 2025.
The performers of the musical and patriotic evening
included:
— the cover band "KRAVA," which performed beloved
songs of the wartime years;
— the Russian folk ensemble "Razgulyai."
The groups performed Russian folk songs and popular wartime compositions in contemporary arrangements, including "Blue Scarf," "Katyusha," "Victory Day," "Smuglyanka," "Oh, the Viburnum is Blooming," "I'll Step Outside and Look at the Village," and many others. The audience supported the performers with applause and joined the dance program.
"The performers sang very well, we really enjoyed it, we came with friends. I couldn’t resist and danced a little — with such songs, your feet just move on their own!" shared audience member Olga Petrenko.
According to spectator Nikolai Denisenko, such programs help foster a sense of patriotism.
"It’s great that there are so many children, the little ones are dancing, listening to the right songs — music about our Motherland. Thank you to the National Centre for such concerts. My wife and I have been here more than once, and we enjoy it every time!" said a guest of the National Centre RUSSIA.
During the breaks between performances, guests of the National Centre RUSSIA were able to enjoy dishes from various regions of Russia at the Gastronomic Rows. Visitors were also reminded of the achievements and beauty of all federal districts of Russia, showcased in the "Journey Across Russia" exposition, as well as of the history of the country's architecture, presented in "The Birth of Scale" exposition.
