"We are part of a great country": Yugra spoke about its achievements at the RUSSIA EXPO
A wedding
of indigenous peoples of the North, a photo zone with a mammoth and a colorful
show with popular artists. Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra is holding the
Day of the Region at the RUSSIA EXPO.
The region
proudly presented its achievements. For example, in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous
Area there is a project for the development of the scientific and technological
center UNITY PARK. Its main goal is to create conditions for Russia's
technological independence in the fuel and energy sector in Yugra.
Another key
event in the development of the region's infrastructure was the construction of
the second bridge crossing over the Ob River near the city of Surgut. It will
take on the main transport load of two important federal transport corridors.
"We are opening another Educational Center. We are building a second bridge across the Ob River, developing a special economic zone of industrial and production type Nyagan. We live, work, make plans for the future, fulfill them. We are part of a great country", - said Natalia Komarova, Governor of the region.
One of the
highlights of the Day of the Region was the wedding uniting representatives of
two indigenous peoples of the North - Khanty and Mansi. The guests of the
exposition could also see a dancing performance Dance with the Bear based on
the mythology of the Khanty people.
In addition, the photo zone Archaeopark was created at the stand of Yugra. It is a construction with an interactive mammoth frozen in ice. If you point your smartphone at a QR code, the animal comes to life and tells about the construction of the Archaeopark complex.
The Day of the Region was spectacularly concluded by a large multimedia show Magic of the Land: Journey through Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra. Diskoteka Avariya band, singer Mia Boyka and other artists took part in it. We wrote more about the event here.
