"We Are Citizens of Russia": young activists of the Movement of the First receive their first passports at the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk
The National Centre RUSSIA branch in the Krasnoyarsk Territory hosted a ceremony to present first passports to participants of the Movement of the First as part of the All-Russian programme "We Are Citizens of Russia". The young activists received the main document of a citizen of the Russian Federation from Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
"A Russian citizen's document means a great deal. Russia is a country of great opportunities for everyone and for each individual. It is the younger generation who will realise these opportunities by developing our country and making it even stronger. All that is needed is to keep moving and dreaming, to aspire and to achieve," Olga Petrova told the young participants.
The first passports were presented to 34 students from 27 schools in Krasnoyarsk. The schoolchildren pledged to be worthy citizens and to protect the interests, security and independence of our country. Each recipient of a first passport received a passport cover and a badge bearing the symbols of the Movement of the First, as well as a copy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
Following the ceremony, the participants visited the exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA branch in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The young visitors were introduced to the history and landmarks of the region through a variety of interactive spaces.
Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, has been elected Deputy Chair of the Public Council under the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
